Lake Allatoona Fishing Report ( Oct Week 1)

Capt. Robert Eidson
October 1, 2009
Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].

Line-sides - GREAT - The lake is still 12+ feet above full pool but the lake looks good. There is very little debris and the water is clear on the south-end and the little line-sides are schooling on top earlier morning and then again right before dark. I can't believe how great the fishing is right now. I thought it was going to take weeks for our bite to return to normal but it is better now then it was before all the rain. The top water bite is off the charts and these fish will eat almost any thing you throw at them right now. I prefer a white roostertail or a Jr Spook. Mid- day down lining live bait mid lake is also working well. The trolling bite is also good, but be sure to keep your main line free of pine straw. There is only three ramps open right now Galts, Stamp and Gatewood.

THE NEXT PARTY BOAT TRIP ( Carters Lake ) Will be on 10/11. This trip will be and 8 hour trip and will cost $125 per person. . Give me a call at 770 827-6282 if you would like to book a seat. These trips are alot of fun and a great way to meet some new friends. These trips are non-alcoholic trips so please leave the beer at home..
