Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report for Lake Allatoona has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827 to 6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].
Lines side fishing is good for hybrids, and small stripes, fair for white bass, We are still catching hybrids just not as many as weeks past. The best bite is mid lake, from Kellogg Creek up to Stamp Creek. The Allatoona Creek and Little River arms are dead right. Fish right on the edge of the river channel either trolling single jigs up in the water column or with down rods 18 to 35 feet down, depending on where you're marking fish. The schools are real tightly bunched. If you get the down rods in the right place you have a good chance to double up. The white bass are schooling up on top early morning and then again right before dark.. These ½ pound to 1 ¾ pound whites are coming up in big schools but can be hit or miss. Some days they are coming up everywhere. And then the next day nothing, just ride until you find them. Use a popping corks or a Jr spook to catch these small line-sides. We still have a few of good days open for Oct if you would like to book a trip please give me a call at 770 827 to 6282 or visit www.lakeallatoonafishing.net
