December 9, 2009
Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This Lake Allatoona fishing guides report is bought to you by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service. www.firstbiteguideservice.com 770 827-6282.

Line-sides The bite on Allatoona this week has been Fair at best. The lake is murky from one end to the other and visibility is less then two feet. The best bite on the lake right now is mid lake around Bartow Carver. Free-lines and Planner-Boards are still working best right at sun up and then again at sun down. Once the sun comes up switch to down-lines in the same area's. Trolling is very slow right now. The umbrella rig bite will pick back up as the water clears.

With the bite on Allatoona being on the slow side this past week . I moved most of my trips this past week to Carters Lake. The bite on Carters has been very good for Trophy Stripers and Spots. On Sunday 12/6 Grayson Usrey age 12 boated two Trophy caliper fish one being a 22 lb Striper and the other being a 5.8 lb Spotted bass. Then on Tuesday 12/8 Doctor Pham of Dallas Ga boated his personal best Striper weighting in a 21.15 lbs and also a 5+ lb Spot. I would like to Congratulate both Grayson and Doctor Pham on their great catches.....We are running a special right now thought the end of Jan. If you book a 6 hour trip on Carters Lake with First Bite Guide Service and Mention Have Fun Fishing you will recieve and extra 2 hours on me. That right 8 hours for the price of 6. Call 770 827-6282 for availability.
