Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

Line side great and the top water bite is off the charts. There are monster schools of stripers, hybrids and white bass busting top water early morning and again late afternoon in eye site of the dam. At times you can see 5 to 6 different schools busting top water at the same time. These fish are feeding on very small shad. Our best bite this week has been on white Rooster Tails, Jr Flukes and Zara Spook Jr's. Mid day you can catch these fish pulling umbrella rigs and fishing live bait on down lines off of any main lake point or hump in eye site of the dam. Mid lake is also holding good numbers of line sides but these fish are deep. Down lining shad and shiners it the mouth of the mid lake creeks has been working best. Kellogg Creek and Galts Ferry are both good starting points. We still have a few days open for June give me a call at 770 827 6282 for availability.
