Capt. Robert Eidson
October 20, 2005
Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

The line side report is bought to you by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service. www.firstbiteguideservice.com 770-827-6282

Line-sides, Fishing is starting to improve but still just fair at best. The north end of the lake is producing some Hybrid with a striper mixed in. The turning of the lake could not have came at a worst time. Right at the full moon phase. That made fishing twice as hard this week. But the worst is all most over fishing in the next 2 weeks should get Great. It does every year at this time. And this year should not be any different. It’s all most time for Planner boards and flat lines now.

And if you don’t have planner boards get them. I think that’s way I catch more fish this time of the year then most. Flatlines are good but are better when used with planner boards. You just cover more water. If you have trouble finding them give me a call. I use the Walleye board by Church Tackle and as far as I am concern it’s the best on the market. You can order these boards at

http://www.outdoorenterprises.com per Mack Farr. And your u-rigs too.

The night bite is all so starting to improve with a very good crappie bite under Hydro Glow light.

www.hydroglow.com It’s that time of the year go feel you freezer.

Trollers- your bite is also improving and the Mack Farr 3 arm with half oz jigs. On the out side and a 1 oz jig. In the middle in all white seems to working best .

I’m still working on the bait boat. And will keep you up dated.

Also working on and Allatoona striper club and will post more on it in the next 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for reading and Good Fishin.

Robert Eidson
