Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 678-363-6260. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].

Line sides fishing is good but could be better. The bait has moved out of the creeks and in to the river channel. And so has the fish. Down lines are working the best right now. And the best bite is coming after 10am. A couple a weeks a go I had one of the best half day trips I have ever had with 63 fish by 11am. But we have not seen anything close to that since then. But catches of 7 to 20 fish is typical right now with a little work. December is one of the best months for stripers on Allatoona don't miss it. I have a few days open for Christmas break if anybody wants to give it a try. And remember kids all ways fish free on my boat with paying adults. Trollers keep pulling your Mack Farr u- rigs in the river channels during mid day. But in the morning try pulling single buck tails in water less then 20 feet deep. This includes shallow humps out in open water. Top Water is very slow right now but keep a Jr. Spook ready.

The 2006 Atlanta Boat Show is January 11, through 15, 2006 at The Georgia World Congress Center. Meet these anglers in the “Let’s Go Fishing Center” presented by Honda: Ken Sturdivant, Al Bassett, Tim White, Captain Mark Noble, Jon Peters, Glenn Chappelear, Mike Bucca, Tom Branch, Jr., Bill Carson, Phil Johnson, Ann and Tom Swinks, Robert Edison, Doug Youngblood, Charlie Ingram and many others.
