Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 678-363-6260. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected]

Line side fishing has been fair this week and trolling has been the best producer for numbers. But we also caught big fish this week on planner boards and down lines along with the u-rigs. Mid lake is still holding a lot of fish. But the south end of the lake is producing good numbers of hybrid. I spent most of the week south of Red Top Mountain State Park. As the water gets colder look for the big fish to move south. With all the rain we had on Tuesday mid lake is starting to stain so try fishing the mud line. Winter isn't the best time to fish for numbers. But if you want a really big fish, this is your time of year. In the past 2 weeks my clients have caught 2 fish over 30 pounds, one on Allatoona and one on Carters and 6 over 20 pounds between the two lakes. For the next month we are going to offer a Carters Lake special along with and Allatoona special when you mention Ken Sturdivant’s name. Call for details and kids all ways fish free with paying adults.
