Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].
Linesides: Very good for hybrids, and surprisingly good for stripers in the main lake. “The water quality up the rivers is really poor this summer, so the stripers that normally stay up there in the cool-water refuges must be in the lake this summer,” . The south end of the lake from Clear Creek to the dam has a very strong bite. There are also lots of linesides in the Allatoona Creek arm from the dam to the I-75 bridge. “Eighteen feet is the key again to the downlines,”The fish are eating. threadfins, gizzards and bream , But for some reason shiners aren’t getting bit right now. Also try flatlines early in the morning. “There’s a lot of topwater activity early,”
Trolling has slow down a little from weeks pasts but is still worth trying mid-day.
.
Remember summer is all most here the fish are schooling up. It is the perfect time to take the kids fishing. I got a summer special going right now. A half day for Dad, Mom and 2 kids for $225.00 . Just mention you saw the ad here
