Line side fishing is really GREAT right now . The bite this week started off a little slow on Sat.( East Winds ). But has rebound nicely by week in. The fish are still deep 30 -50 feet deep. Live bait is really starting to work well on these fish right now. But I still think the spoon bite is the best bite going right now. The southend of the lake is still the place to be. Any where from clear Creek to the Allatoona Creek arm. Troll these area's with your Mack Farr u-rigs. As soon as you find one of these MEGA schools drop live bait down to them or use a 1 oz spoon on them.

The top water bite is really starting to get good. Look for these fish on top early morning and late afternoon.I'ts hard to beat a Sammy when these fish are schooling on top.

SPECIAL NOTE. Just because the lake levels are falling don't think you can't load the boat with fish. The best fishing every year is when the lake is at it lowest. Remember with less water this also means less boats. And less fishing pressure. I look for the lake record striper to be caught this year. And I turely believe it will be caught by one of my clients.
