Good Fishing on Lanier

Capt. Scott Collins
July 21, 2010
Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

Fishing on Lanier is great right now. Not much has changed with the bite this week. We are catching most of our fish out of 90 feet of water very close to timber. This is the first week we have seen some nice schooling action. Down-lines are putting fish in the boat morning and afternoon. The best bite continues to be mid-lake. All the major creeks are holding fish, Flat Creek is a good place to start your search. Main-Lake pockets have also produced well for us. It's a great time of year to get introduced to Striper fishing. Anglers of all skill levels can enjoy the summer down-line bite. Call 678-634-3408 for availability.
