Lake Lanier Striper Fishing Double Vision
Capt. Scott Collins
July 6, 2013
Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

Striper fishing on Lanier is getting better every week. We are seeing some really good numbers of Stripers on Lake Lanier. These fish are relating to deep timber, and schools of bait. There are some spots on the main-lake holding fish and typical summer time creeks like, Six Mile, mouth of Flat Creek, Two mile Cut and Baldridge are producing Stripers. Down-lines are working best for us. The way the fish are biting right now it's shaping up to be a great summer on Lanier. It never gets old watching these Stripers slam down lines. The fish are schooled up in large active groups, get the boat in the right spot and "bam there is a double." We have had a few of those chaos moments this week. There is a great Striper bite in the evening as well. We are offering morning and afternoon trips. The good news is you don't have to be a pro to catch fish on the lake this time of year. See you on the water,
