Nov. 19 Steady Striper Bite

Capt. Scott Collins
November 20, 2008
Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

Despite cold conditions the Striper bite was strong today. We boated good numbers Mid Lake. Surface activity and birds are a key indicator on wether or not the fish are in the area. All the fish we boated today were caught on flat lines; producing a medley of big Spotted bass and Stripers. All of our strikes were far behind the boat.
Dust off the plainer boards! The top water bite is heating up. Always keep a top-water close by. The fish will surface when they are feeding at any point through out the day. The top water bite has been great on some days. I still have a few open dates in November. See you on the water.

Capt. Scott Collins
