Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

The Stripers were in a feeding frenzy 30 feet below the boat and continue to crush live bait on the down line. These schools of stripers are still huge, and when you find one hold on. All four of our down lines were nailed at the same time at one point yesterday, good problems to have. It's a great time of year for catching numbers. I'm only expecting the bite to improve with in the next couple of weeks. We also caught two Stripers on top water and three Spotted Bass on top water that exceeded three pounds. The fish are beginning to move mid lake, look for signs of life and surface activity. Lake Lanier fishing continues to be on fire. I still have open dates in October, see you on the water.
