Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

Shane Watson Guide Service Report 03-17-12. The fishing has been great this week on Lake Lanier. Spring is here and the fish are active and up in the water column. Our boats have caught many, many, stripers from 10 to 30 pounds on freelined bluebacks and Spro Mc Sticks. While catching stripers out over open water, we have caught many spots up to 6 pounds. Our crappie guide has had several 100 plus fish days on jigs and on minnows. Thank God for spring. This report is brought to you by Shane Watson Guide Service, Hammond's Fishing Center, and Carolina Skiff Boats. Good Fishing.
