The Oconee has Awakened!

Lake Oconee - Freshwater Fishing Report

October 9, 2015
I haven't posted a report in some time because the water has been so hot, and the fishing has been poor. Since Jouquim rolled in here, the water temps have dropped and the crappie fishing has been fantastic. We are catching 30 to 50 on a half day trip, and the size is nothing to sneeze at either. Really Good We are long lining jigs over treetops and just about anywhere you can find fish hanging out in timber, you're going to catch them. We are back in full swing now, and if you'd like to book a trip with me, give me a call. Its going to be a great season!!

During the hot summer months he heads to the Chattahoochee River to pursue monster Striped bass. He fishes from a custom jet boat, built exclusively for fishing the river.
