Inshore Reds

Capt. Jeff Stokes
August 31, 2009
St. Simons Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has been great with the exception of a few days due to the weather. The red fish are starting to show up in even thicker numbers and the fall bite is going to be on fire. Most of the reds have been caught on the shell beds on live shrimp and artificial ranging in sizes from 14 to 33 inches and there have been allot of big schools of fish. The trout bite is still good there are allot of smaller fish this time of year but we are still managing to get some keeper fish in the sound. The fall is approching fast and its going to be a good season so book your trip now.

Target Species:

Red fish and Trout
