Redfishing St Simons

Capt. Jeff Stokes
April 4, 2010
St. Simons Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had a good morning on the water it is clearing up from the flood tides and the temperature is rising. This morning we had 12 redfish fishing with a popping cork and live shrimp. The water temp was 64 degrees and we were catching them in 2-4 ft of water. Also the flats have been producing a lot of nice reds and getting a few trout on the oyster beds. After another week of warm weather the bite should really be good and I think we are all ready for that.
