Pacific Coast - Saltwater Fishing Report

STRIKE ZONE CHARTERS FISHING REPORTS FOR LOUISIANA & GUATEMALA
Louisiana: As the new year rolls in and the bad weather gets worse in the Gulf, you have to pick the right day to make your trips....We have a stand by list that we can call when it looks like their will be a break in the weather...That day was last Wednesday night....We had a Alabama coach( not football ) that we had been working with for two weeks to get a good weather day for him to go and wear out the Yellowfin...The seas were less than 1 foot and the temp was about 60 degrees....the night was beautiful. Capt Kevin Aderhold put him on the Yellowfin....From the first drop it was On.... They end the 24hrs with 13 Yellowfin and a bunch of worn out Bama coaches.....the first part of this week looks good....give us a call....

Guatemala::::Capt Edgar has been give me some good reports but tonight's was the best ...Our group had gotten down to the villa just in time for the college national championship game THURSDAY...half of the group was for Bama and the other were for Texas.... They thought they were back home with the 55" Plasma TV and the best beer in the world "Gallo".... The only difference was the warm night breeze from the Pacific bouncing off of their private pool as they watched the game under the large fetch roof. The sun came up quick as they were off to the marina for their first day of fishing. The seas were calm and the sun was bright....They got their first Sail 20 miles out of the marine and it was ON .....they were able to catch and released 27 Sails in one day with three anglers....They had reinforcements coming the next day....one of their friends were delayed because of the bad weather in the states.. on day two the had 25 Sails, well the captain logged 25 they said they had 21 but they were drinking a lot of Gallo Beer ...I will go with the captain on the count.....On the third day the winds picked up and the seas were up....they went 6 for 12 on the Sails....Total for the three days 58 Sails....What a great trip and a great group of anglers with Scott Hartley leading the group....

We are looking at a great fishing season in Guatemala & Louisiana in 2010. We will be running two trips per month to Guatemala starting in February where you can join a group. This is a way for the one and two anglers to join a few other anglers and make a trip at a reasonable price. You can also put you group together and have it private. Any way you get to Guatemala you will have a blast....The Fishing, Golf and just good old parting is the best in the world....

On another note, in the summer I was able to be a part of the AX Men three show that will be airing on the History Chanel this Sunday night....The part on Louisiana is great...It star a local real swam man ...Shelby.....You have to tune in to check this out ...It is a funny and educational show especial if you are from the south....

Get your friends, family or business clients and pack your bags and come enjoy the beat fishing in two worlds with Strike Zone Charters on one of our luxury yachts. The finest fleet of offshore fishing yachts from 55' to 32' in Louisiana and Guatemala...
