KONA FISHING REMAINS HOT WITH MARLIN AND AHI

Capt. Dale Leverone
July 24, 2011
Kona - Saltwater Fishing Report

We took Tom Graber out fishing last week. Tom showed up wearing a hat with a tuna on it and told us about the 100 lb tuna he had caught down in Florida. But he was here to catch his first blue marlin. Sure enough he caught a 160 lb. tuna
the first day. We told him for day two find a hat with a marlin on it. He did and on day two we released a blue marlin estimated at 250 lbs. Tom also got a spearfish which we sent to the taxidermist and a 30 lb. wahoo for the dinner table.
