Kona Hawaii fishing on Sea Strike

Capt. Dale Leverone
June 5, 2011
Kona - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had world famous angler Steve Wozniak out fishing on May 23rd. Steve is known for documenting the catching of 1,000 species of fish and has fished in over 40 different countries.
The last time we had Steve on Sea Strike he ended up catching about 10 anthias, a specie thought to be rare here. He was even catching three at a time (see photo below). Also below is type of lancet fish. These were both new species for him.
Steve's new quest is to catch 100 world records and he is well on his way catching 4 on May 23 rd with us. We also caught a 140 lb silky shark and ssome yellowfin tuna along with many strange bottom fish.
