Summer Heat Sets In.....

Webster Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Spring has come and gone and due to the strange weather we had in Northern Indiana, the Musky fishing was either really good or really iffy. We boated many fish but with no consistancy. Took some skunkings but had many multiple fish days. The water temps are now well into the 80's with the extreme heat we have been having. It is always a great idea to leave the Musky's alone when the water is this warm. Even if you catch a fish, they have a hard time surviving when the water is in the 80's and the air temp is in the 90's. Please give them a break and resume the hunt when the water dips back in to the 70's again. We cannot afford to lose fish due to the heat when it can be avoided. I am looking forward to a great fall this year and hope to hear from you. I have openings in September available and that time of year is usually very productive. Have a great summer!!
