Dularge - Saltwater Fishing Report

I helped out Capt. Ricky this afternoon with a Crew from Texas. Fishing with me were Stonnie Pollock, Gary Pitts, Doug Roper, and George Friesen. The guys are down here duck hunting and wanted to check out the fishing. We thought we could put them on a good afternoon bite with the rising tide, but the trout did not cooperate. The few fish we caught today averaged 16-19 inches, and all were caught tight lining various plastics baits slow on the bottom. The fish are extremely finicky right now. Biting very soft and lots of short strikes, just biting the tails. Good luck fishing everyone. Thanks Capt. Ricky for putting the trip together.
