Day 2 Down in Grand Isle with the INOLECT Group was good as it gets. The winds calmed and the water cleaned up and it was fish on!!! One stop trout slam as we had them coming in two at a time on the double rigged Matrix Shad, and Coco Pepper Cocodrie Cocahoes. 3-6 trout at a time were being slung over the Big Bluewave. Once the bite slowed down we started free-lining croakers on the double rigs and it was fish on again. Today's trout averaged 14-18 inch's. We were back at the camp for 8am, dropped off one customer with a sick stomach and picked up another. We headed back out to scout some new area, picking up some more nice solid fish. Back at the camp for 12:30 to enjoy Shawn P's great Gumbo and tator salad. Great time with great folks, Big thanks again to Capt Travis Miller for running the second boat putting his customers on the fish also.
