Dularge - Saltwater Fishing Report
We got an early start from the Reel Inn Fishing Lodge this morning. Patrick Spell and Doug Peterson jumped on the Bluewave for a unforgettable day on the water. Our first stop had the yellow mouths hitting the deck almost every-cast. The bite played out and we were on the move. Second stop found the mother-load of fish 360' around the boat every-cast!!! Shrimp jumping and trout smacking them every where. The guys were amazed to say the least, a few more moves and we were done with trout. Double rigged Avocado Matrix Shad, Coco Pepper Cocodrie Cocahoes, and shrimp colored TTF KFMS did their work on the trout as they do every day down here. Straight to the red-fish honey hole and it was a one stop whack n stack fest. Doug had never witnessed a bite so incredible in his life and was in his glory!! Reds every-cast with the infamous cracked crabs, every red Doug caught was his biggest!! Truly amazing, we are so blessed to have the fishery we have. The guys reeled in reds to they were exhausted then threw in the towel. We made it back to the Reel Inn for 11:00. Thanks guys for a trip I will never forget.
