Hello fellow anglers. What a great fishing trip with a a very fun group of guys today Jason wanted to take his brother on a late birthday trip and we were after what ever would bite and according to the weather report it was SUPPOSED to be a perfect day for it but around 8 am the torrential winds moved in and didn't do any thing but get worse as the day progressed. I met Jason and his brother and their brother in law Joe at the dock at 5:30 and we headed out to the interior marshes where we have been catching a lot of fish as of late and this morning it was perfect and the trout were there and eating but slowly and we picked up about 20 specks until they shut down so we made a move to a near by shore line and picked up a few red fish and puppy drums then nada. Spot number 3 was more of the same with the guys catching about 3 reds 5 trout and 4 puppy drums.

By now the winds had really started to pump and it was getting harder and harder to find a place to tuck into to try and hide from it but we made lemonade out of the lemons that we had been handed and the guys trekked on and we hit a good stretch of bank that had plenty of fish on it and we managed about 20 more specks and 7 reds and 5 more puppy drums and we used all the bait we had and that was a wrap. With a full box of fish we headed to the barn. The fish today were caught on live shrimp rigged 2 feet under a rattling popping cork. The final fish count for the day was 34 trout 15 red fish and 10 puppy drums not a bad day for a wind blown day.The guys had a great time laughing and joking all day long and cant wait until their next trip a little later in the fall.

If you would like to make a trip Capt. Ron give us a call or drop us an email we would love to take you and your friends and family fishing but call early because the available days are going fast.If you would like to take a trip please give me a call or drop me an email and we can arrange the trip of your lifetime. And as our motto says, "RAIN OR SHINE, SLEET OR SNOW, IF YOU COME WE WILL GO!

Thanks Capt Ron
