Venice - Saltwater Fishing Report

Incredible Tuna Fishing

As most people can see by reading the reports the tuna fishing has been, putting in plain and simple, UNBELIEVABLE. Friday was our only somewhat slow day with the Brent Pitre Crew when we went 2 for 4 on Tuna. We made the long run, about 60 miles out only to find a few fish. We got back to the dock and heard that they crushed them at the first stop we went to. Well, Saturday was a whole different story. We pulled up to busting tuna, we went 7 for 12 and left them biting. With everyone worn out and crying mercy we headed in. The tuna are very aggresive right now in certain areas. They are feeding much better than usual for this time of year and the heat. It has been going on for two weeks now and doesn't show any sign of letting up. The rig fishing has been very good as well. We have openings this on Wed. and Thursday. Don't miss this incredible bite happening right now.
