Killer Haddock fishing

Capt. Fred Lavitman
April 5, 2010
Stellwagen Bank - Saltwater Fishing Report

The last few days on the haddock grounds just off of Stellwagon Bank have been nothing short of fantastic. As soon as our bait and jigs hit the bottom we are rewarded with multiple hook-ups. Saturdays trip was a repeat of Fridays, with 70 fish in the boat by days end. We even caught a juvenile Halibut, wich have become extremely rare in these waters. He was released after a few photos to gain a few hundred pounds before we hopefully meet again. Check out the reports section of our website, www.CrimsonTideCharters.com for pictures of our recent trips. Tight lines, Capt Fred

Whether you enjoy light tackle casting and jigging for bluefish and striped bass along the coast, heading to the deep offshore waters to target delicious cod and haddock, or venturing out to tangle with tackle busting bluefin tuna & monster New England sharks, you have come to the right place.
