Cabo San Lucas - Saltwater Fishing Report

With very few boats clearing the inlet each morning it's tough to get a handle on where the fish are located. One thing for sure is the Yellowfin Tuna are in the cooler water on the Pacific side of the peninsula. We are finding the porpoise schools and the Tuna are feeding below the porpoise.
December 19th. was a Yellowfin Tuna day for sure. Our friends from the Tesoro Hotel spent the day on "CISCO" our 35' Cabo Express with Captain Jose "Mocho" Nunez at the helm and deckhand Ricardo working the cockpit. Luis Garcia and his friends had a busy day boating 22 Yellowfin Tuna up to 50 lbs.
Fleet production was 1 Striped Marlin and 42 Yellowfin Tuna.

On December 20th our 32' Cabo Express "Picante Express" with Captain Antonio "Nino" Romero at the controls and deckhand Luis in the cockpit provided a great day for Mr. Jenkins and his friends releasing 3 Striped Marlin. With only 2 boats fishing today,
Fleet production was 3 Striped Marlin, 10 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Dorado.

December 21st. Mr. Elkins and his friends spent the day on the water with Captain Pablo "Palin" Cesena aboard our 35' Cabo Flybridge "Picante Dream". Although they had multiple
shots at Striped Marlin on the surface it was tough to find a hungry fish. They ended up releasing 2 Striped Marlin.
Fleet production was 2 Striped Marlin, 6 Dorado and 6 Sierra Mackerel.

On December 22nd. the Stripers again were illusive but the crew on our 35' Cabo Express "SALSA" provided our client Mr. Ashton an exciting day with lots of action. Captain Juan Carlos "Brincos" Lopez and deckhand Hugo found the porpoise schools and the guys
boated 13 Yellowfin Tuna and released a Striped Marlin.
Fleet production was 2 Striped Marlin, 14 Yellowfin Tuna and 27 Sierra Mackerel.

Our offices were closed for Christmas Day but our guys found the Marlin bite to improve a bit on December 26th. Our 35' Cabo Flybridge "Picante Dream" with Captain Pablo "Palin" Cesena at the controls and deckhand David in the pit had multiple shots at Stripers and ended up releasing 3 nice size Striped Marlin.
Fleet production was 5 Striped Marlin, 13 Yellowfin Tuna and
8 Sierra Mackerel.
TOTAL FLEET PRODUCTION
• 13 Striped Marlin
• 79 Yellowfin Tuna
• 41 Sierra Mackerel
• 7 Dorado
