Monday, the wife and I got out for one of our good o'l Monday's aboard the WHIPASNAPA,(her off day and mine).Know summer close when she gets in. Suppose to be lil bait and crab run,but she decided to do battled with two fish while I caught about 12 to 15 croakers. But her's was about 25lbs and 35lb, one got off after a good lengthy battle, she was not real happy. But she put the smack down on that second one. I'm getting my picture took with this sucker!
Thursday, had two of the four fisherman that was gone fish the WHIPASNAPA for the Gorenflos tournament,in for a lil scouting trip. Started running rigs to east with not much luck, the water and weather were absolutely beautiful! But no cobia, few kings. Made our way to Chandeleur Island around lunch time. Had a nice ling come up after just 20 min's or so.(chumming the bar) Buddy and Warren swung at him four-five times, not much luck fish picked up the ells they were holding and they were a swinging but no connection. Winded up 2 for 3.(32lb and 28lbs)

On Sunday Kellum's crew wanted one of them good o'l just go catch some stuff trips. Spent about 3 hours small game fishing. We loaded up on croakers, ground mullet , nice flounder, several white trout. Then went chumming, first up was two big battles with some large string rays (3 men to wear one fish out battles) so they was nice an warmed up for the reds. 3 for 5 on the red drum 2 came off right at the boat! Lots of smiles! Thanks, so much to all!!!!!!!!!!
