Biloxi Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI POLE BENDING ACTION:
It was the day before Christmas Eve Derek and Mike boarded the Mega-Bite. With a record rain fall in Biloxi, MS the last weeks the water was very dirty. After spending some time fishing where I caught Redfish the day before, the bite was very slow. It was off to a different spot and again we got some fish but it was still slow. I told them we would find the fish before the day was over.
With a strong east wind I headed to Davis Bayou and after looking at the sonar I still didn't see much. I set anchor after spotting a redfish in the grass. The MEGA-BITE was NOW ON and for the last hour and a half they caught one fish after another! The fish count at the end of the day was more than we took home. We had 32 Black Drum, one Redfish 22'' and one Sheep Head. Now what I didn't talk about is all the Redfish we caught and could not keep. The 15 undersize Redfish we let go were 16" – 17" long, so THAT ‘S 48 FISH in all!

Biloxi Bay Fishing Forecast:

Redfish grow about a one inch a month so by January or February we should have a lot of keeper Redfish. If you are looking to fish in February please book now it fills up fast.
