Gulfport - Saltwater Fishing Report

Muddy Water Blues

Well the muddy water from the recent back, to back, to back, etc. rains have been having a lot of fisherman begin to sing the blues. The Speckle Trout are scattered and most difficult to find. Those found are on the small side but there is an occasional quality fish. If you are willing to put in the time and this can making for a lot of work for such a meager reward.

The Reds are still on the flats but the bait just isn’t as visible as before, therefore the Reds are also scattered. But the Black Drum and Sheepshead are on all of their usual locations. Both in the Bays and out front, they are everywhere there is structure for them to congregate.

Good Luck out there!
