Mr. Champion and sons came Monday and got on some red's about, 45lb black drum and a bucket of white trout and ground mullets.
On Tuesday Mrs. Angie and 5 crew, well we just got in a couple hrs fishing 101. Casting, reeling an anything, was a bonus. We did manage 25 or so white trout and ground mullet's etc.
Wednesday, Mr. Cunningham and sons wanted to go offshore, it was a lil rough to say the least, we did make it out to the wrecks, right behind Horn Island, 8 miles or so, first spot for sure. looking for some groupers to feed some nice golden croakers that I'd been saving up. Kind of tough to keep your feet under ya. We did manage 5 groupers, a king, several endangered red snapper and some triggers.
The fellows took the grouper filets over to Shaggy's and had them cook it up. Said it was fantastic!
Friday I invited them to go check the chumming on the bar, action out, much better day, we spotted 2 actually had one take a bait right on top 5 ft from the boat 1 was just a drive by! But enough to go back Saturday, landed 4 got to keep 2 (1-45:1-24). And couple more drive bys we saw 6 total. They are here!!!

More cobia next couple weeks, ground mullet and white trout should stay strong. Blacktips should show this week, reds will be running with them also. Booked up for the 1 day shootout and the 3 day Gornflo's tournaments.
A good trip would be about 4 hrs on the wrecks for some grouper and about 4 hrs on bar or running around for the cobia!! Moan Down!

So let's go!
