Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report
NO OIL IN MISSISSIPPI & FISH ARE BITING!
Ran trips on Friday and Saturday, and both were a lot of fun with a good bite on black drum, and white trout, with a bonus of flounder and redfish.
On Friday comeback clients Steve Story and Ron Pederson caught 39 black drum and a nice redfish merely 5-minutes from the launch to keep the rods bent. It was great fun, and these two gentlemen are alway a pleasure to guide.
On Saturday, James "JT" Rowell from Brandon, MS and his 10-year-old son Zack had a great morning of fishing in the Back Bay of Biloxi and in the Mississippi Sound aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.
Zack is an exceptional young angler, and he and his father boxed 50 white trout, 14 black drum, a nice flounder, and a beautiful redfish.
It was a great morning of fishing, and they even got to cast soft-plastics into flocks of gulls diving down on white trout and speckled trout chasing shrimp to the surface. Great fun!
Bottom line, the fish are biting like crazy, the weather is hot but beautiful, and we're still dodging all of the oil out in the Gulf of Mexico.
So don't wait another minute, and come on down to south Mississippi and catch a mess of fish aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.
Regards and many thanks to all,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
