Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yesterday my clients were Matthew Ezell, his wife Stasha, and their 10-year-old daughter Madolynn. A great family group!

Started out the morning with Matt landing a nice redfish, and they also boated 3 really fine Spanish mackerel.
Winds settled down nicely so it was off to the barrier island's shallow flats in search of Florida pompano.

Once there the fish were located jumping in the shallows, a sign I've been waiting on for months.
Stasha was the first to score, and she landed a double right off the bat. Two hefty pompano at the same time, man what a battle!

In the end, the family group managed to boat 7 really plump specimens, and has a blast doing so.
Listen, the fish are in good now, and it should just keep getting better and better from here on out.

Ladyfish, bluefish, sharks, and huge stingrays were all over the shallows too, and they added to the light tackle fun as well.
Fishing has been great, the weather beautiful, clients a great bunch of folks, and that makes for a happy captain.
So come on down to Biloxi, MS and create your own fishing memories aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.
