Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

When I told Don Childers that the weather was looking great for our outing he said, "I am hoping to have a golden day!".

Well, for Don he hit the mother lode today. It was just Don and I, and man did we ever have a fantastic day of light tackle fishing aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.

Started out catching big "yellow-mouth" white trout, and Don was having a ball.
However, a live mullet soaked off the back produced a hard strike, and 15-minutes later Don landed the biggest redfish of his life.
Then, a bite on big Spanish mackerel turned on, and soon after that big fat sow speckled trout were getting in on the action.

Man, it was incredible, and Don was going crazy, fish after fish, hard strike after hard strike, it was truly a golden day for Don.

Oh wait, it gets better! After all of that action it was off to the Florida pompano flats, and there 6 beautiful pompano were quickly boated.
With the box loaded with prime eating fish it was time to head back, and Don followed me home where we cleaned the fish together.

Don was a lot of fun to fish with, a great client, and I hope to fish with him sometime down the road.
Was that a golden day? I think so, and just think the summer fishing is just getting cranked up aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.
Out final tally: 16 big sow specks, 8 Spanish mackerel, beautiful 6 Florida pompano, 1 bull redfish, 21 "yellow-mouth" white trout, as well as plenty of sharks, bluefish, and ladyfish. And we left them biting!
So hop aboard and let's create some magnificent fish catching memories of your own.
Regards,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie
