Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Today I guided Forrest "Frosty" Younker of Harrisburg, IL to a morning of tossing jigs for speckled trout in the Tchoutacabouffa River, and Frosty had a blast.

Forrest "Frosty" Younker has great fun catching these Tchoutacabouffa Riber speckled trout.
In all, 11 nice trout were boxed, and plenty of throwbacks and missed strikes added to the fish catching fun. Plus, he even caught and released a black drum and sheephead back in the Back Bay of Biloxi.
Fog was thick as pea soup, and had to make the up river run by using the GPS map. But we make it home alive, and Frosty had a ball catching the speckled trout on light tackle.
Hey, the fishing is still good on specks in the rivers, and the duck hunting as been good too. So let's fish or hunt, but you better book a hunt soon because the season closes on January 25, 2009.

This is a pic of our latest diving duck hunt made on Saturday. The gunners were Criag Oster and his sons Nick and Marcus.
Regards,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
