Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Having 5 days of fishing in a row I'll make this short and to the point. Today my clients were George Roach and Chris Clever from Philidelphia, and man did they have a great time sight fishing redfish in the surf.

Started out the morning boating 2 reds in Camille Cut at Ship Island, as well as 8 Florida pompano, and a big black drum in the 40-pound class.

Ended the day fishing the eastern bars, flats, and gullies, and we boated 7 more reds in the gin clear shallows. These were beautiful slot reds in the 22 to 26-inch class, they were wired and had a voracious appetite. Left them biting!

Final tally: 9 slot reds, 8 Florida pompano, and 1 40-pound black drum. Both George and Chris were extremely pleasant gentlemen, great fun to fish with, and truly appreciated their experience fishing Mississippi's barrier islands.
Back out tomorrow, and will report back soon.
