Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Just a quick report folks. Made a late run to the barrier islands today, and under two hours we managed to land 8 beautiful Florida pompano.

Two of the fish were real huge specimens, and one made two long circles around the Blazer Bay before coming to the net. A real fighter, especially in the strong falling current.

This has been a wonderful summer for better than average size Florida pompano, and it's still going strong. Haven't been seeing them jumping lately, but we are still catching them in the blind.

Also, the speckled trout fishing is picking up in the Louisiana marsh south of Mississippi's mainland, and I do those trips too.

Bottom line, fishing is great, so step aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS for some fish catching fun. Don't know how long this run will last, but I hope it goes well into September. But don't wait because they are here for the taking right now.

Regards,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
