Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Today was a tough one for fishing in my area. A cool front delivered strong east winds, and muddy water made for a tough way to catch a mess of fish.
However, my 2 clients from Atlanta, GA Marlon Phillips and his brother Ottus had a great time never the less, and went home with plenty of tasty fillets for their fish fry.
Started at the Gulf Parks Estates Reef, and during a good flurry of poppong cork fishing landed a fine catch of white trout.
Fished the Katrina, rough and muddy, and then ran all the way back to the Bellefontaine Reefs, and there a few more nice white trout and ground mullet met the ice chest. Ottus landed a 3-foot black tip shark too.
Before we returned to the D'Iberville Marina, a pit stop in a honey hole gave up 4 black drun to end the day. Tough fishing, yes, but by keeping on the move and fishing hard, a fine box of edible fish were caught.
Final tally...90 white trout and ground mullet and 4 black drum. Hey, it isn't over till it's over! These two gentlemen were an extreme pleasure to fish with, and Marlon will be back to fish with me at a latter time.
There are plenty of fish to catch in south Mississippi, and I don't have to travel far to catch them. Your kids would love these relaxing inshore trips, my speciality.
