Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yeaterday was an epic day on the water. Our 3-man limits of gorgeous speckled trout were easily filled, and the redfish were as thick as could be.
In fact, they were a nuisance in our quest to catch the big fat specks. Fishing in 2-feet of water using popping corks and soft-plastic baits, a nonstop fish catching day ensued.

Once the dust settled our boxes were filled with 75 really nice speckled trout, 4 redfish 18 to 24-inches, and we released 15 to 25-pound bull redfish until our arms ached. Truly a wonderful day to be on the water.

By the way, I am licensed to run these trips into the Louisiana marsh, and now is a good time to think about such an adventure. The white trout and ground mullet run is still on close off our mainland, and these two species are a trip to catch too.

So come join me in the new 2170 Blazer Bay for either Mississippi or Louisiana fishing adventures. Hey, here is south Mississippi things are only going to get better. Good fishing!

Regards, Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
