Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

On Wednesday I had the pleasure to guide rock star Todd Harrel of "3 Doors Down" to a morning of fishing in the Back Bay of Biloxi, as well as a bit of trolling for specks in the Tchoutacabouffa River.

Conditions were tough with one of the lowest winter tides of the season, howling north winds, and temperatures at or below freezing.
However, Todd, his dad, and friends toughed it out, and Todd landed a couple of nice black drum on small Shimano spinnning reels and 7-foot St. Croix "Triumph" rods.
A nice sheepshead, and few specks were caught too.

One of the other gentlemen on the boat was Steve Brookins, one of the origional drummers of the rock band "38 Special".
All of these men were an extreme pleasure to fish with, and considering the conditions toughed it out, fished hard, and caught a few fish.
When Todd isn't touring around the world with "3 Doors Down" you can expect him hunting or fishing for pleasure and relaxation.
The beauty of my job is that you never really know who might step aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS next, and that keeps it exciting and challenging.
By the way, got some big reds and black drum prowling the barrier island's shallows, and during a warm day they make for exciting sight fishing.
Regards,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
