Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

On Saturday I had Randy Bell, his son Yuki, Jerry Furby, and George Dulick back aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS for another round of fish catching fun.
Every year Randy and his son drives in from California and spends a day of light tackle fishing aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.

We always seem to catch tons of fish, and today was no different. Gorgeous weather had us running out to the barrier islands, and in the crystal clear shallows, well, it was game on with all sorts of hard fighting fish.
As usual, the hordes of high-leaping ladyfish, bluefish, hardtails, and stingrays were there to keep the action consistent, but it was the Florida pompano that they wanted to put on ice.
Through all of the non stop action the group managed to box 11 gorgeous and tasty pompano, 3 bluefish, and a Spanish mackerel.

With the pompano out of the way it was back to the mainland and into the calm confines of the Back Bay of Biloxi.
There, a hot bite on big "yellow-mouth" white trout ensued, and in no time, just a minute from the D'Iberville Marina the guys were hauling them in.
However, I never anchored, and just motored around holding the boat over clouds of baitfish showing up on the recorder.
The guys really got a kick out of that, and it was a great was to end a wonderful day of fishing in south Mississippi. A total of 50 white trout met the ice chest!
Hey, I always like to try different methods, and today it was sort of like drop fishing for snapper with the motor running. Just booked a couple of trips while writing this report, and that's a very good thing!
Hey, maybe I should keep writing. Ha ha! Oh well, got some great comeback clients coming up so I'll be quite busy once again.
So give me a call, and we'll create some fishing of your own.
Regards and many thanks to all,
