Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS Still Catching Bull Reds, World-Class Sight Fishing In The Shallows!

Since the last report it has been much of the same, an extremely steady catch of big redfish at Mississippi's barrier islands.

All sight fishing, and the big schools of redfish have been all over the bars, flats, and gullies.

Yesterday Don Sipp landed 6 of the big brutes aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, the day before the Don Smith group limited out with 9 slot reds, and the day before that John Sullivan and his son caught and released 6 big fish, as well as 110 white trout and ground mullet.

Yes, it has been that good! Don't know how long the run will last, but TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS has been catching them consistently for a month now.

White trout and ground mullet are showing up too, and for fast paced light tackle fishing fun these two species can't be beat, and they eat good too.

Casting into pods of hundreds and hundreds of redfish is extremely exciting, and on 10-pound-test spinning tackle it's just a whole lot of fun.

Water clarity at the barrier islands has been gin clear for the most part, and we are eagerly awaiting the arrivial of the tasty and hard fighting Florida pompano.

Hey, if you haven't fished for pompano, or for that matter fished for them in south Mississippi you're in for a treat. TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS specializes in these exotic flats dwellers, and knows how to catch them from April through October.

For further details go to my web site. Hey, the fishing is about to bust loose down nere in south Mississippi, so be sure to book your next fishing adventure aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS now.

Regards and many thanks to all,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
