Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report
TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS stayed busy over the Labor Day weekend, and the fish catching was simply non stop rod bending action.
On Saturday John Matlock and his son Josh easily put 92 delicious sand sea trout "white trout" and southern kingfish "ground mullet" in the fish box, plus 1 flounder, as well as 15 black drum, with one specimen in the 30-pound-class.
On Sunday it was the Lee Tractor group, 4 anglers, including Quinn Howard and Jeff Branch. Well, these 4 anglers in a matter of a couple of hours stashed 181 white trout and ground mullet on ice, and left them biting like crazy.
By the way, the article done on TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS by outdoor writer Bryan Brasher came out Sunday in The Commercial Appeal newspaper out of Memphis, TN.
Go to my web site at www.teambrodiecharters.com to check it out. Good article regarding some of my style of fishing in south Mississippi's inshore waters.
Have plenty of openings in September and October, the fishing has been on fire in the bays, and will continute to deliver top-notch light tackle action.
The Florida pompano fishing should get better and better too, just need anglers to hunt for them at the barrier islands.
Hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend, and come on down and let's go fishing aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.
Regards and many thanks,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
