Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report
I had a young man call an, had 3 children 19 13 an 9 was fixin to be shiped out to Afghanistan, was really just wanting to create a few lasting memories before he left.
Odds were not real good neap tide strong NE wind. But hey you just never know till you go. But was really wanting to do my part. An well guess the fish gods wanted to do there part as well.
1st fish young Ben the 9yr. old, had a nice 8 to 10lb Blackdrum which was awesome thought he had the ol snag fish at first, but the sinker ( which was on bottom) was just snagged an it finally broke off then it was all fish and he had his hands full, matter fact dad had to give lil support.
Really had a strong bite of whitetrout,groundmullet, but it was the young fellow that was in the zone, next thing you know he pulled in a nice flounder.He was stoked, to say the least. These guys had never fished before so it was a learning exp. They caught a large variety of fish. The pleasure was all mine Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!
