Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Today was the first duck hunt of the season aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, and we got our hunting started with a bang, well, more like many bang, bang, bangs.

My guests were Leonard Vergunst of Ocean Springs, MS and Rob Langlanais of St. Martin, MS. The weather was ideal with stiff northeast winds, cloudy skies, and temps in the 40's.

With over 100 decoys set out before us the hunt began right at gunning time, and on the first flock 4 beautiful redheads hit the water. Soon 2 more fine drake redheads met their doom as they tumbled out of the sky.

Plenty of birds were on the move, and we were surrounded by hundreds of ducks sitting on the water. Truly a great day to be duck hunting!

Added to the mix were 5 buffleheads and 4 lesser scaups, and we left them flying being satesfied with our 3-man limits of big redheads.
Bottom line, TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS first duck hunt of the season was a good one, and if you would like to try your hand at hunting diving ducks be sure to give me a call at (228) 697-7707 and check out my web site at www.teambrodiecharters.com.

And yes, the bay fishing is still good too!
Remember..."At TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS It's All About The Bite And The Flight!"
Regards and many thanks to all,
