Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE ABOARD TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS - Wednesday, December 16, 2009 - DIVING DUCKS SWARMING TODAY - Made the second diving duck of the season on Wednesday, and it was even better that the last hunt.

Easily attained our 3-man limit of 18 ducks, and made the Mississippi Sound "Grand Slam" in the process.

To attain the "Grand Slam" we bagged 4 different species of divers including: redheads, canvasback, buffleheads, and bluebills.

The numbers included 5 redheads, 1 canvasback, 6 buffleheads, and 6 bluebills. Could have had more cans, but had to finish out the limit with 1 bird since we were nearly limited out.

Bluebills and buffleheads were everywhere, and we had to chase them out of the decoys at times. However, the ducks are down in south Mississippi, and I need more gunners to come shoot their share.

Be sure to check out my web site for further details! As you can see I got some great photography on this hunt. The hunt is on aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS!
