Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS is still stacking them up on the dock despite poor fishing conditions!

I guess I better post on here before people think I've gone out of business. But the truth is fishing and business has been excellent, and most of my time has been spent on the water catching lots of fish.

We are still encountering plenty of windy days, but inshore honey holes have been delivering day in and day out. Have to have plans B, C, & D in this business for those poor fishing condition days.

Speckled trout, redfish, sand sea trout aka "white trout", southern kingfish aka "ground mullet" or "whiting", and black drum have been the staple catch, and the white trout are on fire.

Fishing the bridges continues to deliver big redfish and black drum on the secret bait, and although plenty have been caught many have been lost on the bottom structure that hold the big fish.

Fished the first 10 days of the month, and that was awesome...tiring...but awesome. Caught loads of fish, had wonderful clients, mostly return clients, and we just had a wonderful time. Heck, how many people can say that about their job?

Folks we have plenty of fishing left to this summer, matter a fact, well, it's just getting cranked up so come on down to south Mississippi and let's catch a mess of fish.

Regards and many thanks to all,
