Big Spanish Mackerel Make For Exciting Morning!

Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Today on a half a day trip it was more non stop fish catching fun aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, and my clients James and Elissa Vogelpohl simply hammered the big Spanish mackerel. The landed 22 in all, and left them biting!

Using live pogies and popping corks, well, it was exciting fish catching fun just behind the boat. Those big Spanish would come up and boil, and all of a sudden the corks would go ripping across the surface.

They also added a few speckled trout and white trout to the mix, and James day was made when he hooked into and landed one of the big bull redfish feeding behind the boat.
James is in the Army, and is getting ready for a second tour, and this was a great send off he'll remember for a long time.
Heck, with practically a strike on every cast what more could an angler ask for.

By the way, this was the most beautiful day yet at the barrier islands, and the water was crystal clear.
So what are you waiting for, let's go catch some fish!
Regards,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
