Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

First of all, I hope everyone out there had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Yes I know its been a while since my last report, but I haven't been goofing off to much. No really! Matter a fact, well, I've been doing well on speckled trout, black drum, and sheepshead lately.

On my last trip with the Eugene Coleman group out of Atlanta, GA it was a nice day casting soft-plastics tipped with shrimp in the protected waters of our coastal rivers.

The men worked hard slowly bouncing the jigs along the bottom, and managed to put 25 nice speckled trout, 20 black drum, and a nice flounder on ice.

Ran a trip in the lower bay awhile back, and the Marty Nemec group from Michigan had a blast putting 35 sheepshead, 2 black drum, and a nice redfish in the box. Not bad for all of this cold weather fishing.

Also, I've been doing a bite of river fishing either by mysely or with a friend, and we've been doing well on some nice specks, and a few redfish. Hey, it's 24/7 fishing aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, so if you're tired of watching football, well, let's go fishing instead.

Oh yeah, took Dr. Randy Patrolia on a guided diving duck last week, and Randy, a regular hunting client aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS bagged his 6 duck limit including: a redhead, 2 drake scaups aka "bluebills" (of which one will become a new wall mount), and 3 buffleheads.

Remember it's full-time year-round hunting and fishing adventures aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, so get up off that couch and let's go enjoy all that south Mississippi has to offer.
Regards and many thanks to all,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
